FAQVisivra FAQ: Answers on Use, Price and Safety
Visivra Team at Govisivra · physician review: Dr. Preston Sullivan, MD · last revised
This page answers thirty-five Visivra questions in six groups.
In short: a daily eye capsule with six named actives, $158 to $294 a pack, and sixty days from purchase to change your mind.
Start with how to take it.
Every question this desk is actually asked, grouped so the one you came for is two clicks away rather than twenty.
About the Visivra bottle
What is Visivra?
A once-daily eye-support capsule, thirty to a bottle, naming six actives: lutein, zeaxanthin, bilberry extract, astaxanthin, zinc and vitamin A. It is a dietary supplement rather than a medicine.
Is Visivra a capsule, a gummy or drops?
A capsule. The front panel says so and says thirty to a bottle. A capsule is also the right vehicle here, because four of the six actives are fat-soluble carotenoids.
Who makes Visivra?
The manufacturer is not named on the artwork this desk holds. This website is run by Govisivra, the licensed U.S. retail desk for visivra, which is a retailer rather than the maker.
How many capsules are in a Visivra bottle?
Thirty, printed on the front panel. It is the only number on the artwork.
Is there a Visivra Supplement Facts panel?
No. Not on the bottle, not on the vendor’s ingredient tile and not on the seller’s page. That is why this website carries no panel page and prints trial amounts instead.
Does Visivra contain caffeine or a stimulant?
Nothing on the named list is a stimulant. All six are carotenoids, a botanical extract or a nutrient.
About the Visivra formula
How much lutein is in a capsule?
That figure is the seller’s and it is not on the label. What this desk can tell you is the trial amount: AREDS2 used 10 mg of lutein a day with 2 mg of zeaxanthin.
Why does the label name six things and no amounts?
Because a supplement in this format is not required to publish more than it chooses to, and this one has chosen the names. This desk will not estimate the amounts, and the ingredients page sets out what each one was studied at instead.
Is bilberry the same as blueberry?
Related and not the same. European bilberry carries a higher anthocyanin load, and trial extracts are standardised to those anthocyanins.
Which form of vitamin A is in it?
The artwork does not say, and it is the single most useful line it could have added. Ring the order desk to ask; this desk will publish the answer when it has one.
Is there copper in it?
Not on the named list. Zinc appears and copper does not, which is worth knowing because the AREDS formula paired them on purpose.
What is the capsule shell made of?
No other-ingredients line is printed, so the shell material is not on the artwork. Anyone with a gelatine restriction should settle it with the seller before ordering.
Taking Visivra
How do I take Visivra?
One capsule a day with a meal that contains some fat. The artwork prints no directions line, so that routine comes from the thirty-capsule count set against the seller’s own thirty-day pack labels.
Morning or evening?
Whichever meal you never skip. No hour of the day has been shown to beat another for carotenoids.
Does it have to be with food?
It should be. Carotenoid absorption rises with the fat eaten alongside it, which is a measured effect rather than folklore.
What if I miss a day?
Take the next one at the usual time. Do not double up. Carotenoid status is built over weeks and one capsule does not move it.
How long before Visivra does anything?
Plan on two to three months. This desk’s own reviews put the commonest first report at 3–4 weeks, and the published pigment trials ran twelve weeks at the short end.
Can I take it with a multivitamin?
That is the one combination worth checking, because most multivitamins carry zinc and vitamin A and the totals add up across two bottles.
Buying Visivra
How much does Visivra cost?
Two bottles $158, three bottles $207, six bottles $294. There is no single-bottle tier.
Is shipping free?
On no tier. The two-bottle pack shows shipping at checkout and the other two add $9.99.
What are the crossed-out prices?
The seller’s own comparison figures. Nobody recently paid them and this desk prints no saving calculated from them.
Which pack should I buy first?
Two bottles if you are testing it, because it is the only tier that finishes inside the guarantee. Three bottles if you already expect to stay, because it covers the twelve weeks the trials ran over.
Is it a subscription?
Nothing in this desk’s paperwork describes a recurring charge. Read the checkout page before confirming, which is sensible on any purchase.
Where is Visivra shipped from?
The United States. The tracking number arrives in the order email.
How long does delivery take?
The seller publishes no transit window for this product, so this desk prints none rather than inventing one.
The Visivra guarantee
When does the guarantee start?
On the date of purchase, which is the date on your order confirmation. It runs 60 days from there.
How do I claim it?
Ring the order desk with your order ID and ask for a return authorisation. Post the bottles to the Hudson Street address with your name, email and order ID inside the box.
Who pays the return postage?
You do, unless the parcel arrived damaged, wrong or defective through the seller’s error.
How long until the money is back?
Three to five business days to process once the return arrives, then five to ten on the card. Two separate waits.
Can I get a refund on a bottle I bought elsewhere?
Not here. The window attaches to an order this desk can see, and a bottle bought elsewhere belongs to whoever sold it.
Do I have to return empty bottles?
Ask on the call. The authorisation you are given will say what to include, and guessing is how a refund stalls.
Visivra safety questions
Is Visivra safe?
Four of the six actives are quiet at any sensible intake. Zinc and vitamin A are dose-dependent and form-dependent and the artwork gives neither figure, which is the honest answer to this question.
Can it interact with my medication?
Carotenoids rarely do. Zinc and vitamin A are the two rows that can matter, and both depend on an amount the seller holds. Anyone on a prescription has one conversation worth having and that is it.
Can I take it while pregnant?
No. The label is for adults and not for pregnancy or nursing. Vitamin A in particular has specific considerations there, and neither the form nor the amount is stated.
Will it turn my skin orange?
Very high carotenoid intake over months can tint the palms and soles. It is harmless and it reverses, and it is unlikely at supplemental amounts.
Does Visivra treat macular degeneration?
No. It is not a treatment for macular degeneration, cataract or glaucoma, and it is not the AREDS2 formula. Those conditions are diagnosed and managed by an eye clinician.
My vision has changed. Should I take this?
Book an eye examination instead. Several of the causes are time-sensitive and none of them is helped by waiting to see whether a capsule works.
Is it FDA approved?
No, and no dietary supplement is. The FDA does not approve supplements. An FDA-registered facility is a statement about a building.
Are Visivra reviews on this site verified?
They are collected against orders this desk shipped and summarised by this desk. They are not independently audited and the reviews page says so on the page itself.
Where the factual answers about Visivra come from
Every figure in the answers above traces to one of three places, and it is worth saying which is which.
Prices, pack labels and the four printed supports were read from the seller’s own page and from the artwork on 19 September 2026. The capsule count, the lot and the certificate reference come from this desk’s own paperwork. Everything else is published research, cited where it is used rather than gathered at the foot of the page.
The trial amounts in the formula answers are the clearest case. AREDS2 gave lutein 10 mg and zeaxanthin 2 mg a day. The original AREDS trial gave zinc 80 mg with copper 2 mg, deliberately paired. CARET is the trial that eventually took beta carotene out of this category. The advice to take the capsule with a meal comes from a controlled feeding study that measured carotenoid absorption rising with the fat eaten alongside it. And the answer about a change in vision points at the National Eye Institute rather than at anything this desk has to sell.
None of those trials is a claim about this capsule, because the label gives no amount to set beside any of them. That comparison, and the empty column it runs against, is on the ingredients page.
